Nathan (Herriman, UT) changed jobs as a programmer this year and looks forward to the new challenge. Tamara continues her impressive scrapping work, Desiree is growing into a beautiful young woman, and is now Mutual age. Michael's football team played for the championship game in November, which we were able to watch. Victoria and Jacob continue to grow.

Sarah (Springville, UT) and Rob have made some beautiful improvements on their home this year, and Tyler was ordained a Deacon, which we were able to be there for. Lauren, Spencer and Blake are all growing, learning and we love spending time with them. Rob spends much of his life in airports, but his job is a great blessing to their family, and he meets lots of famous people as he travels.

Jon (Laverkin, UT), runs a St George construction company and has succeeded in keeping them afloat during very challenging times for the construction industry. Canon is becoming a tall, handsome boy. Jessie is in first grade, and Emily has her own preschool for the twins and others. Logan and Lynsie are such fun and will start school next year. Braden is growing and trying to talk.

Ruth (St George, UT) and Cale are looking to buy their own home, and Cale moved his pharmacy into a new facility on Bluff Street. Ocean is a real, live, active child who is always fun to be with.

Derek (West Valley City, UT) graduated with a BS in "Digital Entertainment Game Design" on December 10th. We congratulate him for enduring to the end and getting his degree. Holly is working towards her masters degree, and continues to work for Zions Bank in SLC fulltime.

Daniel (Mesquite, NV) is in a group home with another roommate with disabilities. Dan loves having his own place and has lots of friends and activities there.

We love being near(er) our children and being able to spend time with them, and to attend important events in the lives of our grandchildren. They all enrich our lives and are a great blessing to us. Our family means so much to us and more and more we appreciate that they are "an heritage from the Lord."
___________________________________________________
The top slideshow is our "garden and fruit" show. Slideshow at the bottom is 2008 pictures of our family.

Click here to return to the Christmas Letter http://toquer-villa.blogspot.com/
___________________________________________________
Rex's Weather Blog http://weather-facts.blogspot.com/
Rex's Gardening Blog http://rex-jensen.blogspot.com/
